Has anybody noticed that the Latency on the WiFi at Urbane on Crooks-South is terrible? I mean, on some days, it's fast, responsive and I can multi-task with ease; exactly what WiFi over a Cable Internet Connection should allow. Then there are alot of times when it is sooooo sloooooow. I test the latency on www.speedtest.net and during the worst times, we were getting latency times of over 600ms with a download speed of 0.50 to 2.5mbs! Normal latency for a WiFi cable connection should be 20-40ms with download speeds of around 15-30Mbs. I know that the WiFi is free, but I mean, it's 2010. I shouldn't have to put up with slower than dial-up speeds.... Free or not.

Hi Eric,
We're having similar wifi issues here at Urbane on Thirteen (building 4316). Could we have this looked at also? Basically it's the same problem Rob is having. Okay connection sometimes but terribly slow at other times.

We believe that this issue is now fixed. We found two defective AP's

Yes, I believe that it is fixed. I noticed that the connection, as of late, has been very stable and smooth. Thanks for the quick action, I appreciate it greatly!

The wifi on Thirteen is choppy. Sometimes it runs very smoothly and sometimes it does not work at all. I'm in building 4312 and would appreciate this being looked at as well.

We also seem to be having similar problems at Urbane on Maple, at least I do at the front of the building. I only have connection on a semi-regular basis when I sitting in the southern -most rooms of my apartment. If I go to either of my bedrooms, I have 1 bar, and I often lose connection. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever experienced those "fast" days Rob speaks of...
