the virtual gathering spot for residents of urbane apartments

Three years ago, residents started requesting free wi-fi--and they got it. When they wanted to pay their rent online, we contracted with a company to provide it. Requests for eco-friendly rental options resulted in our new Urbane on Center community.

What is the one big thing that would most positively add to your Urbane living experience?

Fred, Good Evening
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, I didn't realize that dumpster enclosure was such a mess. That is not good. We checked today with the refuse hauler and we have increased the number of pick-ups starting next week. The maintenance crew will be over tomorrow to clean up the area inside the enclosure. We will also bring over recyclable bins, and have added recyclable pick-up to the trash service service. We had it, but I think that the containers were removed when the new dumpster enclosure was installed.

So, sometime next week the extra pick-ups should start and rectify this issue. We will keep our eye on it until then, and we apologize for dropping the ball here,

I am from NY in a building with over 1000 people living in it and I have never seen such a significant trash problem... Sorry to complain after the holiday but it is absolutely disgusting... if it stays this way you are bound to see RATS!

Thank you for your quick response. The rest of the residents and I sincerely appreciate your commitment to keeping the Urbane on Center up to par. I also think that the residents themselves can help the situation by not throwing trash on the floor and brining matters to your attention before the escalate like this has... Thank you again.

Last suggestion regarding furniture that is to be thrown away- perhaps there should be an appointed day for that to be thrown out and not just thrown in the dumpster making it impossible for others to throw their everyday trash out. Just a thought...

I think online payment is good idea and its good service for residents. I don't have any big experience about Urbane but I heard many things about it. appartamenti a barcellona

the 620 building on center st buzzer is not working. and its not just my apt, its everyone in the building...they used to work, then a few months ago when some maitenance guys were messing around down there, you could no longer buzz guests in. can u get that fixed please?

Any thoughts to covered parking on Urbane at Thirteen? I think all the residents here would agree that it would be a huge improvement, plus a draw for future tenants!

I think it would be FANTASTIC if a buzzer system were installed in the Maple apartments. It is cumbersome and often difficult to schedule timing for visitors or to have them stop by without announcing themselves. What is even more challenging is when you're on crutches on the 2nd floor (yup, that was me!) and have to go up and down the stairs to let in visitors or co-workers. This would be a valuable upgrade, and also helpful for UPS for deliveries!

Here are a couple of things that I've noticed at "Urbane on Crooks: South" that need to be revitalized.

*The steps on the outdoor staircase leading to the second floor need help. I mean, replace warped and old steps and a nice coat of fresh paint. The paint is chipping pretty good and the wood is pretty worn down and old.

*The "Urbane" sign doesn't doesn't light up anymore.

*I also would suggest putting some lights or markers near the two driveways leading to the parking lot at Urbane on Crooks: South. We have FIVE driveways all in a row. one leads to somebodys garaage, another to a completely separate apartment complex, then their is our two, and the last one is for a dentists office. Crooks isn't lit up at all near our parking lot and it's very easy to miss the drive ways if you're not paying attention.

Other than that, the place is AWESOME!

Could we get card scanners at Crooks North for the laundry room? It's such a pain to obtain quarters these days

I would like regular maintenance on the WiFi Networks that have been set up for the apartment buildings. I mean, it's one thing to set up a network, but you can't just say "There ya go, enjoy!" and then leave. Router and Cabling Updates, DNS Flushing, Access point upgrades, and just regular everyday maintenance.
