Since the launch of the #140conf events, conferences have taken place in: New York City, Los Angeles, London and Tel Aviv. During the course of 2009 we explored the effects of twitter on a wide range of topics including: Celebrity, “The Media”, Advertising, Politics, Music, Education, Public Safety and Public Diplomacy.
The #140conf events provide a platform for the worldwide twitter community to: listen, connect, share and engage with each other, while collectively exploring the effects of the emerging real-time internet on business.

The internet at urbane on adams hasn't worked in months. When I talked to urbane they say they have sent someone out to fix it, yet I and other tenants still haven't had internet. I understand internet can go in and out at times, but why advertise that the buildings have free internet if it never works. Starbucks offers free internet and it always works and that's where I've been going to do my work...
